How can I apply to Escena Erasmus?
To be able to enrol on the project Escena Erasmus, you must fill registration form which you can find in the same screen as the months of the enrolment. The period of enrolment is from the 1st August until the 12th of October of 2017. During the months it is not possible to enrol, you can subscribe to be the first to be informed of all the news of Escena Erasmus.
Once I’m enrolled, what do I need to do?
Once your enrolled we will notify you by email to confirm we have received your application. Later in mid October we will send you another email inviting you to audition. The auditions for the course 2017-2018 will be held on October 18, 2017.
Why do we have to audition?
Due to the grand number of entrants which we receive we have to carry out auditions where we evaluate how keen you are to participate in this project. We also evaluate the theatrical experience, stage presence, artistic experience, physical co-ordination and musical or dance capacity which you may be able to have.
What is the time of the workshops and where?
In the case that you may be one of the candidates chosen, in theory, the classes should start on the 8th November 2017. The classes are every Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm in the Old School of ‘Magisterio “Ausiàs March” of the University of Valencia (C/ Alcalde Reig, 8) which is close to the Palau de la Musica. The course will be from October 2017 until February 2018.
How much does it cost?
In the case that you are a chosen candidate, you will have to pay a matriculation cost of €40 which is 10% of the cost of the course. The rest is subsidised by The University of Valencia. When the course finishes you will receive a diploma of participation and another diploma with 2 credits ECTS. !
Is it necessary to have an advanced level of Spanish?
No, There is not a problem if you do not have a good level of Spanish. The classes and activities will help your Spanish improve little by little until gain fluency. !
If I have problems with the times of the classes, is there a solution?
In the case that you have problems with the hours of the class, we can get involved and provide you with a letter of justification which means you may be able to change the group or we can speak with a professor on your behalf. !
Is the Project of Escena Erasmus important?
The European Theatre project of Escena Erasmus has reached it’s eighth anniversary in 2017 and has the European Youth Charlemagne Prize for the European Union. We already have over two hundred alumni, carried out eight tours within all of Spain and we already have developments in Marburg (Germany), Padova (Italy) and Cagliari (Italy).
